Making an Epic Quilt from Fabric Scraps

Using Your Fabric Scraps to Create Something Epic

I'm a big fan of making the most out of what you have. It's one thing to be resourceful and another thing to use up all your fabric scraps. But, if you're like me, there are plenty of times when it feels like your stash is just full of scraps and that they'll never be used again. In this post we'll look at some ideas for using up all those little pieces left over from projects past so that they can continue on their journey through life as something new:

Scrappy Courthouse Steps is an easy, fast, yet striking way to sort and use your scraps. I can't stop making versions. I started with the original rainbow version, then made a warm colored one, a cool colored one, and lastly a low volume neutral one.

One other thing I love about this pattern is the optional sashing, which can really take things to the next level. Your fabric scraps are a great way to make something unique and beautiful. You can use them to decorate your home, give as gifts or even sell!

I hope you've enjoyed this blog post and have been inspired to use up all those scraps! You can find the Scrappy Courthouse Steps pattern in my shop.
